The first thing you do is download the i Tunes u if you don’t already have it on your i pad then, from it you can get inspiring ideas for teachers which is available for you.
These are a series of lessons that you are able to look at that can last for long periods of time, that gives the reader ideas on a particular subject that they might to learn about. In this part of the educational app they have about 30 in the collection relating to lessons. The first app in the collection that caught my attention is called It’s All Geography to me which gave a description of the study of geography with the way the human and physical environment interact with each other. The second app which I thought was interesting was A Stitch in Time: Civilizations and Storytelling which gives the description of having students investigate how myth and storytelling fuel the rise of civilizations. The third and final lesson that caught my eye was the Non-Verbal & Visual Communications, it describes that it will help students to improve knowledge in communication through verbal and non verbal communication, writing listening and interview skills.
Images from the collection I choose. I thought this app really could inspire educators to help improve on new lesson for particular subjects by looking up updated materials and applying them to the classroom. I also think for summer school programs students that want to use this app on his or her I pad, it would be very beneficial as well to help them catch up from the previous year what they may misunderstood or help students prepare for the upcoming year. I was unfamiliar with this app for the first time using but it layed out where I needed to go to find the educational collection I was looking for. If you are a first time user and need some instructional help on this app you find this tutorial helpful.
